I'm having the aforementioned trouble. Everything was fine last night, this morning time ~ no audio.
RE: the "HDMI not connected" Under Settings>Display & Audio>Volume>Set up Boob tube & A/V control
Following THAT path, I get the aforementioned "HDMI not connected" every bit the original postal service mentioned, but it is connected because I have video, simply not audio.
I tried all of the things mentioned, including a hard reset, with no luck. Delight HELP!!

This problem occurred to me today as well. It was working fine a couple days ago. The audio works fine a couple days ago and at present there is no sound from my XB One at all. I tried the suggestions and nothings happens. I even did the Reset console option (only with saved games) and it still has no audio.
One person suggested that the Xbox might be broken simply i don't sympathise how. A couple days agone i played and it works fine. Today i turn information technology on, and no audio at all. :(
Is it possible there was a new update and the no sound could be a problems or something that is being worked on?
(i don't know if this helps, just the Television receiver sound worked fine for channels)

I plugged in earbuds into the controller and still no sound.
Another person replied on Janurary four (Amurry2) and said that the HDMI is not connected for them.
( Display and sound > Volume > Set up TV & A/V command )
Information technology then shows a HDMI, a USB and a AUDIO options. Under HDMI it says its non connected.
When I printing it, it tells me that my HDMI cablevision should be plugged into the IN port ont he dorsum of the xbox. I practise that so the picture dissipeares. I am switching through all the input settings on the idiot box controller and cant find it at all. I put it dorsum into the HDMI Out input and I go the picture dorsum.
I have i person living with me and sometimes a friend comes over to play xbox. And sometimes other cousins or family members come to visit and if they want to play xbox, they would need a profile inorder to save in that location progress in a game. But I just have 2.
